The goal of our physical education program is to give our students the knowledge, skills, and confidence they need to be an active person for a lifetime! And we, the PE staff, are going to make sure they have fun getting there!
Students will explore movement, gradually developing an understanding of the fundamental movement skills, concepts, and strategies needed to become a physically literate, competent and confident mover in a physical activity setting. They will participate in a number of games and physical activities that promote enjoyment of physical activity, success, and good health. They will also participate in cooperative activities, notice how their body changes when they are moving and learn about how to keep their heart healthy, all while having a great time! |
